The Reviews for Batman vs. Robin (2015) 1080p

A major "hoot"!Reviewed bycrimson_knight_7Vote: 7/10

Batman vs Robin, directed by Jay Oliva and written by J.M. DeMatteis, was an action packed, whirlwind of a ride and a significant improvement to Ethan Spaulding's "Son of Batman". In addition to choosing a life with his father, Bruce Wayne (Batman), Damian (Robin) assists his father's continued fight at night for Gotham's soul as the next Robin. However, Damian finds himself struggling to cope with his father's "no- killing" policy due to the philosophical form of combat training he received under Ra's al Ghul. As a result of this philosophical conflict between Damian, and Bruce Wayne, Damian is forced into a lifestyle of isolation. As Bruce Wayne tightens the noose around Damian's freedom, Damian is sought out by a member of the Court of Owls. While struggling with his own identity, Damian must decide whether he will adhere to his father's morals, or become a member of the Court of Owls.

First I would like to say that this DC animated film was spectacular! The animation was fluid, flawless, and the voice acting was superb. Though I wasn't initially a fan of Jason O'Mara, I have definitely come to appreciate him as the new Dark Knight. With the level of graphic realism as well as the psychopathic trills currently shown in the recent DC animated Batman series, I believe Jay Oliva has perfectly presented us with an accurate portrayal of Gotham's twisted atmosphere. However, the title was slightly misleading as Batman and Robin only fought against each other for a short time. If anything, it should have been called "Batman: The Court of Owls". In the end, Batman vs Robin is an excellent addition to the DC animated series as well as is something every Batman fan will appreciate.

7 Stars.

Spectacular!Reviewed bynamashi_1Vote: 9/10

'Batman vs. Robin' is a Spectacular animation flick, that has tremendous potential to translate into a motion-picture about the caped crusader. I was stunned & awe-struck by this striking effort!

'Batman vs. Robin' Synopsis: While Damian Wayne struggles to cope with Batman's no- killing rule, he soon starts to believe that his destiny lies within a secret society known as, The Court of Owls.

'Batman vs. Robin' is high on story & animation. It blends both the factors, most efficiently. J. M. DeMatteis's Screenplay is definitely dark, but it holds tremendous appeal. The twists in the tale as well as its action-sequences, are so well-structured. There is no place for boredom here. Jay Oliva's Direction offers some of the most brilliant animation I've in seen in recent times. Background Score is top-notch.

Vocal-Performances are also superb. Jason O'Mara – Bruce Wayne / Batman, nails it. Stuart Allan – Damian Wayne / Robin, gives the underrated superhero, a voice with power. Sean Maher – Dick Grayson / Nightwing, has done an impressive job. Robin Atkin Downes – Court of Owls Grandmaster, roars.

On the whole, 'Batman vs Robin' rocks!

Give it a chanceReviewed byCardinalsrdVote: 8/10

I went into this movie with low expectations. Son of Batman and Assault on Arkham were some of the worst animated movies DC has recently produced in my opinion. I am a huge batman nerd and an avid comic reader. Knowing all the lore and stories, I am especially critical of movies or comics. Don't get me started on Dark Knight Rises or Grant Morrison's writing. However, while this movie did not follow a comic arc or should even be considered canon, it was an excellent movie.

(-'s) 1. The title doesn't fit. 2. It isn't canon with Snyder's writing. Part of Grant Morrison's legacy-The hipster who ruined the original continuity.

(+'s) Excellent Animation Good movie, not just a good superhero movie. Very fast-paced/suspenseful, but still maintained a good plot. Perfect and gritty script writing-even without K. Conroy it was good. Did not jump the shark-not unbelievable like anything Morrison would write.
